Welcome! My name is Michaela! I grew up in Southeast Georgia and went to Georgia Southern University, where I met the love of my life. We married in Savannah, Georgia in March of 2014, surrounded by our wonderful friends and family. Hubby and I lived apart for a while as I finished up my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education at GSU, but we are now happily living together in the Classic City. We are loving finally getting to do life together (sometimes taking time to learn how) as we navigate our second year of marriage, focusing on the Lord and trying to fulfill His will for us. It's not always easy, but our love and His love always keep us going.
My Testimony
A couple of years ago, I had fallen away from Christ and the Church I had grown up in. I was a dead girl walking, but the Lord had a better plan for me, and I was brought from death to life in Christ on November 17, 2013. Throughout the time since then, I have grown closer and closer to the Lord through devotions, prayer, worship, and fellowship with other believers. My life has an even bigger meaning and more purpose now, as I get to walk out my life with Him daily, and I could not feel more blessed. I wasn't worthy of being redeemed, but He loved me so much that He sent His only Son to die for me anyway! What a wonderful God we serve!
